At first I thought it was just the doctor in Lost Keys, but now it seems like the sample at 5:00 on Vicarious is also read by the same Aussie...
Is it just for consistency's sake, or is it of some other significance? Perhaps they just happened to designate one person to do the samples?

Yeah and when Adam lights up the guitar on Wings, it kind of sounds like a digeridoo (sp)?

That scream 50 seconds in is probably some drunk Aussie singing in an alley at 3AM.

So I take it y'all don't ascribe any significance to the fact that they chose an Aussie to read a couple of samples?

i'm still not sure the doc is aussie. he sounds like a fusion of pom, aussie, kiwi, and south african.

I think it is in relation to the band INXS.
A little theory I have...has to do with the lovely TV show they had and how it relates to the concept of this album.

The guy in Lost Keys sounds like Justin talking. and also, didn't Blair say, Maynard and Justin did a intro track together? Maynard just probably does all the breathing noises even though it's not much.

Please see below link for a definition of Aborigine....

And for you guys who think certain sounds on the album sound Australian - you really need to broaden your musical repertoire

The reporter in Vicarious is Aussie, the doctor is a Pom, anything else is irrelevant.

Actually, I reckon he's saying "apparition he" rather than aborigine. Aborigine just... doesn't fit the context.
