Clocks?

Does the opening riff remind anyone of clocks ticking? It does this at the "Be Patient" part as well. I just get the feeling that time or clocks is/are being emphasized.

Flame on.

Re: Clocks?

I am listening to the patient and looking at the second hand of a wristwatch. The palm mutes share no immediately apparent time signature. So unless you're looking at a clock and you're tripping on acid, and time means nothing...the song isnt really about clocks.

Re: Clocks?

The rim-clicks in the drums definitley sound like a clock ticking.
