I cannot cease until you see my fate
Through the river of cognizance
In the chaotic currents – my fate, and Freedom
As those that roam above
Are free; unbound by the gravity
Of my infested river
In the abandoned sky where tears are founded, the rain
Falls from clouds of the past
Saturated with memories...
And the rain seeks still to relieve
My uncaressed skin; my skin
Is bitter with irony.
A tainted drop as it descends;
Is caressing my flesh again – and by my gravity
Deluges the river, for descent again
So the past, only by the fervent sphere's light
Can the river be quenched of water
But I thirst, and a corrupted existence
Is dependent on more.
My earth moves and the light descends -
(Beauty in the sunset as it descends)
Thus a shadow of time melts me into my past
With the darkness melting through my future.
I still pray for the light to ascend; the light on which
My survival, it seems, does depend -
My earth moves and the light ascends;
By my gravity,
To descend.
