keepin' in mind the theory that saturn controls a mans discipline and believes....now the change we all have seen in lateralus is huge...a total turn by tool...no explicit lyrics and lyrics that give u hope!.....Grudge is the first song of the album...i think maynard wants to tell us that he has let go all his grudges...the saturn's revolution ends in 29 years and thats also the time when a man experiences a change in his believes....the set of believes that r next to come are much superior to those which will be goin' soon....maynard says let those old believes go away....whats about to come is what u really need....this does't mean that maynard doesn't follow wot he had spread around before...he juss wants to tell us that go and light every dark corner of ur mind....the grudge might be ignorance..it might be hate...it might be envy...it might be believes that shudn't be followed....let this grudge go....and change it into gold.....thats where he brings in alchemy!....the yell at the last is of tearing apart all ur ignorance from u and exiting ur ur leaden life to step into something that'll bring eternal peace! theres my 2 cents!
