It doesn't really imply that either of those are the cover. They could be inside pages of the booklet, where we definitely have seen band members before.

Well, on the one hand it looks pretty fucking real. A little weird, but no more so than the picture of the band on Aenema, I suppose.
On the other hand, if it was real and some guy from a music shop did have it it seems highly unlikely that his would be the only music shop which got it and, therefore, we would probably be hearing leaks by now. We aren't... so I am suspicious. Perhaps he was lying about how he got the image but it is the real artwork nonetheless?

I wasn't saying that you were lying... I was more doubtful of the fellow who supposedly has the album.

Okay so today I was talking to someone who said the artwork was really nice. I didn't think he was serious, yet, I asked for proof, which he gave me by uploading two different (huge) scans from the booklet. That's still the big problem: how can artwork be THAT big...
Anyways there are two pics, the maynard one is the first, the second one is with a head-baby. I already send the URL to someone on this board a few hours ago to check if it was a fake, and he said he hadn't seen it before. I'll post it here but edit it out in 2 minutes. GO
and gone. That was actually 2 minutes and 27 seconds.

hmm.... good question. Perhaps if it was taken with a really nice camera or scanner I suppose it could be magnified without losing any quality.

Blair did say that when we saw it we wouldn't be able to deny that it was tool... One certainly can't deny that that IS Maynard. I'm still very skeptical, however.

I am going to say that there is an 80% chance that it is real and a 20% chance that it is the most clever and well done fake yet.

the symbol on the bottom half is larger on the 1st one, but smaller on the second. See it for yourself.
I've uploaded both to another source, by the way.

Re: Artwork leaked? This is a new one
the symbol on the bottom half is larger on the 1st one, but smaller on the second. See it for yourself.
I've uploaded both to another source, by the way.

If the image was scanned at 600DPI and it was 5 inches tall, the image would be 3000pixels on the monitor.. which is much larger than any normal resolution height.
It's very simple.
A 3x5 photo scanned with a very good scanner at 1500DPI would yield a huge picture on a computer monitor (along with filesize).
BTW: Looks totally real.
