i usually just listen to the cd straight through, especially when i have to hit the road for a job. however, if i have the time and i'm in the mood, there are a few parts of specific songs that i have to rewind and hear again. and sometimes again, and then again. anyway, here are the ones that are worth mentioning, please throw in your favorites as well:
Vicarious- from 5:30 'til the end. most of the time just once. sometimes again from 6:30 on.
Jambi- 3:03 'til 3:55. i've never rewound this less than two extra times. maybe the best 52 seconds on the cd.
Wings For Marie- 4:12 'til 4:26. perfect amount of jamming for this particular song. usually rewind it once
10,000 Days- 5:09 'til 5:45, or until she demands her wings. God i love this part. two or three rewinds is enough, most of the time, but 10,000 times would be fine.
The Pot- 1:32 'til 1:47 (when Adam comes in at 1:42,) and 5:00 'til 5:20. just one rewind each.
Lipan Conjuring- the scream at :57
Lost Keys- i haven't rewound any parts of this, but i love the irony when the nurse says: "he won't speak to anyone," and then the arrogance of the doctor to immediately reply with, "well let's say 'hello.'" like he's just going to talk all of a sudden. (i know, i know, he DOES talk, but it's still a little funny.)
Rosetta Stoned- 8:37 'til 9:16. awesome. i do like everything after that, so i usually just rewind it the once, and then enjoy the rest.
Intension- 3:52 'til 5:52. so relaxing. the whole song is pretty relaxing, but these instrumentals are soothing. the "percussion" or "electric percussion" that comes in at 4:44 is wonderful. i could go to sleep to this part if i looped it.
Right In Two- 2:49 'til 3:37. contrary to insecure fears of being called monkeys, these are truly some of the finest lyrics in any TOOL song. seriously, they are incredible. i love listening to this one part three or four times before i move on (usually back to Vicarious or Jambi.)
Viginti Tres- i think this should be listened to as a whole, or not at all. whatever you are feeling.
what is your favorite, rewindable part of this TOOL cd?

Danny's crazy fill near the end of The Pot. Not sure of the time...sorry, the CD is not with me now. My brother almost wrecked his truck when I pointed this fill out to him

Jambi- 3:03 'til 3:55. i've never rewound this less than two extra times. maybe the best 23 seconds on the cd.
im only in geometry, but does that equal 23 seconds?

I never rewind tool songs for fear of certain parts or songs becoming repetitive..

I have been known to replay the following many many times:
Stinkfist, Eulogy, H., Forty Six & 2, Hooker With A Penis, Jimmy, Pushit, Ænema, Third Eye, No Quarter, The Grudge, The Patient, Schism, Parabola, Ticks & Leeches, Lateralus, Disposition, Reflection, Triad, Vicarious, Jambi, Wings For Marie, 10,000 Days, The Pot, Rosetta Stoned, Intension, Right In Two...
Check out the "most euphoric Tool moments" thread in the Rosetta Stoned section of this forum - there are some great moments listed, with the best part being that people's favourites come from a variety of songs and albums and not just the same 1 or 2 tracks etc. It's a good thread - worth a read...
Peace!

Last couple minutes of Jambi, "overwhelmed as one would be" in Rosetta Stoned, The Pot in its entirety lately, the last half of Vicarious, the 46&2 freakout in Right in Two.
