this song is one of the biggest, juicies, beefiest songs ive heard. In my bordom im will attempt to explain -in my opinion- the significants of the message. if you dont like when over analyzing assholes give you there opinion on something i suggest you should turn back.
The Intro: purly instermentle, it sets an ironic yet suttle mood for this song. its progression pumps you up for the whole song.
part II: "Black then white are all...." i think that this could represent the first stages of child birth, or just the first few moments of being in a new situation. black and white (which are not classified as colors by the way) r the two basic tints, an abundance of light, or the absance of light. it is basic but allows for depth and texture. just seeing whats on the outside, with out being connected to energy (makes more sence if you know or belive in chi, or auras). example. you go into a room full of girls dressed up in cheerleader uniforms. first you identify females, and skirts. then if you listen, you may find out that there actually a whole bunch of guys dressed up like girls. at this point you are completly terrified. but if you stay longer and communicate,, listen and know whats going on, you can realize that it was all a joke. at this point "red and yellow" have let you see the truth. "over thinking over analyzing seperates the body from the mind" at first when you walked into that room you were completly sure that they were girls. "to look through to these infinite possibilities" is a good summery for that and speaks for itself. "reaching out to what ever may come" may be the best way to think about life and what it throws at you. just let it come, and make the best of it
part III: "I embrace my desire to
feel the rhythm, to feel connected
enough to step aside and weep like a widow
to feel inspired, to fathom the power,
to witness the beauty, to bathe in the fountain,
to swing on the spiral
of our divinity and still be a human." >>>>>Probably the most sentimentle and emotional part of the song. To me it represents the emotions that humans feel. To completly live is to feel sorrow and happyness. "step aside and weep like a widow" could mean those times in life when you just take a time out and look at all ur failiors and mistakes. "to feel inspired" comes right after that self reflection and you realize how you can improve. its the same concept as learning from ur mistakes. "to swing on the spiral of our devinity" the spiral-there has been a discussion about this before- to me represents life and existance itself. "swing" just being a verb to contrast living and having fun doing it. so basically live and have fun in this state of evolution and life (our devinity).
part IV: "With my feet upon the ground I lose myself
between the sounds and open wide to suck it in,
I feel it move across my skin.
I'm reaching up and reaching out,
I'm reaching for the random or what ever will bewilder me.
And following our will and wind we may just go where no one's been.
We'll ride the spiral to the end and may just go where no one's been.">>>>> quickly summerized this section to me sybolizes grasping the meaning of life and using it to ur advantage. "i feel it move accross my skin" could be anything from the wind, sound waves, to love and hate of our being. "im reaching up and reaching out im reaching for the random or what ever will bewilder me" is the confrontation of one and the hardships of life. to me its saying "come on, give me what you got." and at the same time wanting to be challenged. "follow our will and wind we may just go where no ones been" to me tells me to just be myself, do what i want todo, and i will pass and succed those stuck with imatations of themselfs. "we'll ride......" just means basically the same thing. be urself, see things as they are, keep an open mind.
