The Unicursal Hexagram symbolizes the union of the man with the divine. As with the hexagram used in the Star of David, this six-pointed star represents "as above, so below," but because this symbol is formed of only one line, rather than 2, it further represents that above and below human and divine are one.
Isnt a spiral just 1 single line??

Prehaps something inspired by danny's geomeotry studies.

actually, i think the entire spiral theme is more of a collective idea of the band. no doubt that danny is the mathematics freak of the four, but alex grey has been painting spirals for years. it's more of a symbolic phrase, though everything in the universe is spiraling. if you've seen the movie "pi," you know what i'm talkin' about. personally, i think maynard should stay off the dissociatives for a while. i mean, for his own sake.
