in this song he starts out with a "friend" that took acid, which is a fairly old drug. then he has a "friend" that takes ectacy, which was a newer club drug when this song came out. then he gets bored. could he be waiting for a newer and better drug?

Perhaps...l think he's just waiting for something else to come along to do. l don't think it has to do with drugs, l think it has to do with the person personallity, and how he gets bored so easily that it causes him to do these drugs. Who knows.

l like how you said "Friend." Because l agree with exactly what you mean on that one.

i think what he's saying is these drugs are boring him, he's ready to reach the place they take you permanently, drugs only take you there for a moment in time.

oh, and LSD is really fairly new, compared to other drugs.

a drug developed in the 50's isnt considered 'new' to me.
