If he is using a whammy anywhere, I haven't heard it, and I totally ripped apart the song to make this accurate. I didn't hear any whammy-esque pitch shifting but let me know if you find otherwise.

Heres something that will help you practice it. I did some filtering and just left the guitar. just put this mp3 on loop and play along, you'll get to hear where the riffs overlap a bit better

yeah but a muted triangle in general midi does simulate it quite well.

i could swear that the open D string is played along with some of the notes on the G string during the intro.

maybe its just me. good tab!
