10 000 Days is probably his best work imo.. not maybe lyrically but the vocals are still amazing. well he's great in all of the Tool albums (also APC) so i can't say where he's best..................fgdfghj.

I disagree.
His vocals on this album are my favourite thing about it. Probably the only thing stopping me from hating the album like the rest of you.

I see what you're saying, bro. The first couple listens I felt oddly about it.
Am I interpreting too much or is it possibly him conveying how humbled he is by his mother's faith? Maybe he's giving her respect in explaining his feelings.
It also creates more of an emotional vibe when he starts to do those melodies and harmonies.
