04-19-2006, 08:30 PM There is a song named 'Tool-Vicarious' Going around.
This song is awesome. It sounds ALOT like tool. In fact the creator has pretty obviously drawn inspiration from the lateralus riff...its uncannily resembles it. This song is NOT Vicarious It is The Doom3 Theme, that ID software hired Nine Inch nails member Chris Vrenna to create *ways to know this is the song Im talking about* IT has NO lyrics. Just very hard to hear mumbling in the backround. Its very very intense and loud, and the riff will remind any avid tool fan of Lateralus (at least it should ^^) Aside from this funny joke someone ingeniously made. Its actually a really good song, although its pretty short at just a few minutes. I would recommend to get it anyway ^^ you can search for Doom3 theme. *source* http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Doom_3 *quote* "Development team ... Chris Vrenna — (one of the first members of Nine Inch Nails who wrote the music for Quake) — Music (Note: Trent Reznor left part-way through development and no longer has sound or music in Doom 3) "
