If you could pick the special guest for Tool's european tour, who would you choose? For me, I'd like to see Alice in Chains, and think that this is a possibility since they're sharing some festival bills with Tool (including Download).
So what would your support act wishlist be?

AIC would be cool, but losing Layne makes them not as appealing to me...
I'm rooting for ISIS, since thats what they're all but confirmed as main support. I'm hoping ISIS make it back to the states to continue the tour in August...
If not them, anything but Messhugah would be just fine.

I'd love to see Red House Painters open up for them, just to get you in the mood. Building the tension up before Tool comes on stage - but I'm pretty sure that will never happen.

Cult of Luna or Oceansize sound good. It doubt it will be ISIS, I emailed them and they pretty much said definitely not.

The Mars Volta, NIN and Porcupine Tree definetely. That would be a killer trio. Maybe I'm beggin too much...
But since I will be seing Tool with Deftones and Alice in Chais, it will be awsome as well. Im damn hoping that Maynard sings Passenger for the first time live =)

maynard has sang passenger with the deftones before. i also read that ISIS will soon be entering the studio to record a new album so i doubt they will be opening for more than a few tool shows.
