Who do you think will support Tool on the new tour.?
Maybe something Patton related? His Peeping Tom album is out in May-ish, but I don't know if that would fit the bill. I really can't think who will.

Peeping Tom would be amazing, apart from Tool thats the other album ive been waiting for for years! Dont know how the crowd would react to pattons pop project though? What with these two albums and a new Muse one its gonna be a great month!

Yes! New Muse is going to be nuts.
I would love Peeping Tom to support, but I don't think it would happen really. I don't think the majority would really 'get it'. They might need a band to set a certain mood before they go on. Peeping Tom would be upbeat, something which Tool aren't really. They're more brooding. Saying that, Meshuggah did support, and Fantomas - so anything could happen.

Maybe they will have a thing like 311 and do TOOL day, what did those guys do? like 64 songs, I dont like their music but its still pretty cool, I can't find the acutal length of that concert.
Just found it...68 songs in a little over 5 hours

Another Patton band would seem a little redundent, after Fantomas and TomaHawk opened for Tool last time I saw them. Meshuggah already opened up also, so I wouldnt think they would again this time around.

I would like to see a local indi band from each city that TooL are visiting. The logistics would be hellish, but it would give some much needed exposure to some great bands from far and wide.

Oh God please no! Unfortunately most bands are pure shit so I wouldn't like for this to happen at all. Tricky backed them up the last time that I saw them and they were better than I expected. Maybe Massive Attack :)

ISIS seems the most logical considering some of the band members between the two are friends, and the style would fit. Plus ISIS is awesome, and I've yet to see them so I'm hoping it's them anyway.

Isis, they seem certs now. They were cited as an influence on the new CD weren't they? Seems cool, good band.
Maybe Dredg could do it, also.
