^nice post. I don't think that there is any sort of "hidden meaning" behind this guitar solo, it's just another part of the much longer song. I would say you're reading to much into this, but hey, you never know.
He says the solo starts at 4:20, which is an "obvious drug reference"...but I'm almost positive it's a simple coincidence. It dosent sound like something Tool would do, it's just one part of the song, there is still another 10 or so minutes on it. You could probably go to every Tool song and find a weird part at 4:20, but its by no means meant to be there.

i disagree. i think the song begins at 0:00, because there is nothing in a beginning, that is why it is a beginning, it is a starting point. wow, this is incredibly inept.
