I think they named this song "triad" because of the way the drumkit is tuned during this song. It resonates from D to F to A, hence the triad -Just a thought.

Musical Naming
I agree to a point, but I'm thinking just the beat itself. The whole song you can sing triads through and it sounds totally natural!! try it

1-and-a-2-and-a-3-and-a-4-and-a-1-and-a-2......
