Well it's a positive sign at least that FINALLY the show lengths will match those of previous tours. Gotta be a solid 2 hours now, with both Right In Two AND 'Wings' in there.

Apparently Maynard couldn't get through Wings on the first try. He went off stage for a while and then came back to finish it. That might explain the confused setlist order that was posted.
Sorry Maynard. In all my excitement about the music I forgot about the terrible truth behind this song. It must be extremely difficult and emotional to perform this song in front of so many other people. Thank you so much for being willing to share your heart with all of us. I hope it becomes easier in some way in the future. I hope that each time you perform this song it will help you somehow.

ok so about the meeting up for the FRIDAY night show
sorry i got there 30mins late tonight kids. hope nobody was waiting around alone or anything.
but i think we can do this properly for friday night. let's say 8pm at the harbor bar again, outside section 111, on the first floor. there is a big SQUARE domino's pizza sign on the wall. perhaps we can congregate there. get a drink if yr early.
tool went on at 9pm tonight, so come by, hang for a few minutes, say hi, have a drink, let's say maybe 8-830....

I want to go to the Friday show but I'm thinking I will get screwed with Opiate and Sober instead of Right in Two and Wings and it will be the same setlist as Vegas. tough decision

Hard to say really what will happen. It's obvious that Wings was really tough for Maynard. That said, if I was to bet on it, I'd say they do it. Tool strikes me as the type of people to get right back in the saddle after a challenge like tonight. The box is open, so to speak.

Made a last minute decision to pick up some tickets for the show and fly down to LA (from Sac) in hopes of seeing Wings/10,000 days. (I attended the Oakland show - it was awesome!)
I just picked up the tickets this morning, as well as booked my flight for tonight, and told my boss "im out - gotta see a very important concert."
