It seems to me that in many sites I go to that have people's opinions regarding Tool, everyone's focus seems to be on Lateralus and Aenema. These are everyone's favourite albums and the topic of so many dicussions. I'm wondering "What about Undertow?" I love Aenema and Lateralus is also a great album, but I find that Undertow is very much underated or underappreciated. Personally, I find it hard to choose my favourite Tool album because they are all so unique, but for all the thought I've given it, I think that Undertow would have to be it for me.
(To be clear, I definitely do not avoid Opiate and Salival...in fact Opiate is also a love of mine. Just making one observation here.)

I love Undertow...it's underlying theme is so dark, it makes me very happy.

My favorite album. And yes, I am angered by how noone ever mentions it when in a tool discussion except for when it's specifically about undertow.

Is anyone else freaked out by the liner notes?
