The mods have taken a stance of if it doesn't flame it doesn't get locked.
The only way to get it locked now would be for a massive flame war to happen, but that's impossible because if everyone can agree on one thing with the internet, it's that you gotta look at a hot girls pic and try and impress her to get noticed.

Well, we all know that all it takes to get a thread locked is mention the term ******s, queers, homos, gay, or whatever in a negative conotation, and a certain moderator will swiftly avenge you oppressed hellenic lovers out there.
I was contemplating saying something myself, but decided its her buisiness. But that dosen't change the fact it was bullshit to fuck with Nikki like that. Yes, she is a bit of a novelty on this forum (a hot girl who mingles with the unlaid masses on here) but still, you should treat her with respect. And that "certain" moderator, in my opinion, should have locked those fucking threads, which (once again, merely in my opinion) constitute a far more actionable offense than anyone making a non-specific third-person reference to "brown-bombers" or "carpet-munchers". But then again, I suppose a pretty white girl getting picked apart maliciously is somehow justifiable is acceptable in lieu of the whole MTV News "ethnomasochstic worldview of defending groups, instead of individuals" ethos. But that's merely my opinion, on an opinion page. And I just might be wrong.

abe, just let it go. I'd rather posts resolve themselves, and they are locked due to flaming which gets nowhere. Just don't participate in a thread that you don't like. I usually post just to show how stupid I think the thread is, and hope someone picks up on the hint. I've been to forums with nazi mods. They are no good. The mods here are cool and they are like members of the board you can laugh with. Aside from the more silent ones.
