it seems to me that this song is about realizing that maybe you are actually the problem because you cant deal with what a person is doing or dont like someone. we automatically assume it is their fault (obviously we would think that we ourselves are correct) but try and turn it around and even consider the fact that it is you.
that what i think they are trying to say, what do you guys think?
I think the person reaches their lowest level; their "bottom", when they describe the horrible consequences they are experiencing are a result of their own actions, not the others they were originally blaming as the root cause.
