Booked my room last night. Staying at the Holiday Inn Express by Dave and Busters and Harrahs. Gonna hit up both of those spots and the pool. Also for $5 the hotel threw in free transportation within a 5 mile radius and $20 for Dave and Busters. The weekend is shaping up nicely. Stopping at Darcys pint in Springfield on the way there (from chicago) . I don't know how many of you are familiar with St. Louis, but verizon amphitheatre is the big outdoor venue for StL and Lynard Skynard is playing there the same night as the Tool show. I'm expecting my hotel to be crazy. Doubt I will sleep after the show. Stopping at penny lane in Springfield on the way back. Setlist is looking beautiful.
We're staying at the same Holiday Inn. Driving from Milwaukee, hoping to get there about 5:00. :P
im just wondering how bad traffic will really be.... our hotel is about 2 miles from the venue... so im thinkin about hoofing it. ill be damned if i miss this show cuz im sittin in traffic.

won't have to worry about traffic in St. Charles and especially that far away.
First time poster but I've been a Tool fan from the beginning. Granted I was only 13 when Opiate came out and didn't fully connect with them on another level until AEnima. Tool, IMO is the greatest band of my lifetime and there will never be another band that will come close to them. I'm with them on a completely spiritual/universal level and I don't ever see it being duplicated.
Anyhow, with all of that said, this will be my 7th time seeing them on the 26th and I cannot wait. I shouldn't have even read the reviews from the NO and Houston shows but I couldn't help myself. My god, to start things off with Third Eye from the Salival album is all that is necessary, lol. I will be on a whole other level by the end of that song and we'll still have 90 minutes + to go. Going with my wife and friends and will be on the floor. Maybe we'll see some of you out there as we plan on being in line a good 3-4 hours before the doors open. I cannot wait! Will be the first show dropping L with Tool live. I fully expect an epic time. PEACE
1. Tomorrow night (Saturday, June 26th) at the Family Arena in St. Charles, MO. Doors @ 6, show at 7:30p.
2. Four tickets for sale: Section 121, Row L, seats 9 through 12.
3. I'm asking for the face value of the tickets at $65.75 each. Would prefer to sell all 4 to one person but could sell in pairs if I get desperate.
I would meet you before the show and require cash.

Yes you will have to worry about traffic with only one street going and out of the place combined with the hoosier fest going on up the road at the other concert venue, Lynyrd Skynyrd and Bret Michaels at UMB Bank Pavilion. Woo woo! We're leaving at 5:15 and that may be pushing it. I live only 12-15 miles from the venue. The Family Arena has decided to open the doors at 6 p.m. instead of 6:30 to better account for the traffic and ensure that (most) everyone gets to their seats/spaces on time. Traffic is going to suck, but it's going to be a blast! The people-watching at the casinos afterwards will be entertaining. A Skynyrd crowd with a TOOL crowd. Hilarious.
I'm making the trip for this one, just because i'm in Argentina tuesday so made a funny flight plan just to catch a show, keen as on hearing third eye which is the main reason, which is why i forked out for a ticket at a crazy price.
You won't be disappointed ccp... Last night wovenhand came out right at 8 and played for about a half hour then tool came out at like 9:05 so I'd expect the same tonight
So are we sure that there's an opener and that Tool goes on around 9?

Re: 06.26.2010 - St. Charles, MO @ Family Arena
I don't think anybody is "sure" what time they will come on tonight, but last night, the opener played until 8:30 and Tool came on about 9:00. Also, I don't know if your venue will handle this better, but I stood in line for damn near close to an hour to get in, so didn't actually get inside until about 30 minutes after I had planned. Then they ended just shy of 11:00.

Per the box office, Tool goes on at 8:30, which I'm assuming means 9, like moya said.
