If the reference to "our new [blue] second sun" in Third Eye is taken from Native American mythology (which Maynard has said he's interested in), the appearance of the blue second sun is the final sign of the coming of the fith world (the Appocalypse).
The noon blue apples. It's part of the Rennes-Le-Chateau mystery, if you follow the hidden link on toolband.com. It's weird, but I think that there might be another sun on the next dimensional level up. And it might be blue.

Actually there are at least five secret links on toolband.com. But two of them leads to same page. I think that maybe theres more but I have found yet five.
I just had an epiphany about this quote. I recently connected this to something I heard about the ancient Hopi people. They talked about a time when a "blue star" appeared in the sky, by this they meant that the galactic core started becoming very active and turned blue. After this a tremendous cloud of dust hit the solar system, which is evidenced in ice core samples showing iridium and rhodium fall on the earth in a regular cycle
When all of the dust arrived, it hit the skin of the sun, this made it very volatile and forced the Hopi to retreat to caves; it also killed off much of the life on Earth
Just some thoughts... maybe thats what they were thinking...

In New Age conspiracy theory, the blue second sun was also said to be a planet named Tiamet (or something like that) that was destroyed by the pursuers of the race of aliens who inhabited the continent of Appalachia and founded Atlantis. According to this theory, Tiamet was a planet 15 times the size of Earth that was mostly covered in oceans, hence when the sun shone on it it appeared as a blue second sun in the skies of Earth. When it was destroyed debris and water rained on the Earth, creating a huge flood and greatly increasing the size of the Earth's oceans. The remnants of the planet are said to be the asteriod belt between Mars and Jupiter, which largely consists of huge chunks of ice, and accounts of the event are said to be contained in many ancient world mythologies.
I'm kind of skeptical about this myself, but I think Maynard and Danny are both heavily into the whole Serpent People/H o m o Atlantis thing.

Adam had a dark blue great dane named, eon blue apocalypse, I'm sure there is meaning behind that, but he/she died and now he has a black great dane named, diablo.
The only instrument in that song is a guitar. (it sounds like two, and could possibly have been two when recorded, but you can just as easily play it on one guitar) maybe adam wanted to dedicate something to a lost friend. anywho...
