Looks like we've got a 9 song album...ugh. Lipan Conjuring looks like it'll be the skip-track of this album...maybe along with Lost Keys. (A formulaic 3 minute track from Tool can only be one of their *experimental* segues --- hopefully it's an enjoyable segue, unlike intermission/jimmy)
Hopefully these aren't Harry Manback tracks...seriously, they are fun to listen to once, after that...
Let's just say I left Manback and ions (amongst others) out of my ipod.

just to remind you, Hush is 2:48, Parabol is 3 minutes, Sweat is 3:46, and Part of Me is 3:17. Yes, its their EP, but I for one would love it if Tool did a short song again, that was still furious and just as much of an impact as any other song on the album. It would show that not all of their songs have to be 7 and a half minute classics. I doubt it'll happen, but I'd welcome it.

I think they should just release one track on this album. When listened to, the track should induce an epic euphoria and cause extreme hallucinations, and then it will turn the listener in to salt.

wtf, you are supposed to listen to the whole ALBUM, not just individual tracks. If you listen to (-) Ions as a lead-in to Third Eye, the way it builds up is amazing. That track really sets the tone for Third Eye. In fact, every segue on Ænima fits well, and the record is better off with them. Especially Intermission and (-) Ions. The same goes for Lateralus.

I think Tool makes ALBUMS. Not A COLLECTION OF SONGS AND OTHER CRAP. The segues are part of the experience, and to disrespect them is to disrespect the whole product.
Try listen to the ALBUM, not just the songs.
EDIT:
Okay, the post before me covered this. I'm glad SOMEONE else gets it.

I seriously doubt that Lost Keys is a segue in the same vein as Manback or Ions. It's probably more easily comparable to Parabol. Going by the Andy King review, Lipan Conjuring and Viginti Tres are segues/non-songs. I'm guessing that Lost Keys will just tie into something bigger and will be a legitimate piece of music by any standards.
