schism

i often find myself listening to tool and applying the songs to the outside world -- relationships i've had, people i know,
-- everyone and everything else but myself.
for the longest time schism has represented the struggles i've had communicating in relationships-- breaking the barrier
so to speak. last night i was driving home listening to schism
when something came over me. it was so strong i had to pull
over to shoulder of the freeway until it passed. in a flash the song was about me. about the battle between what i think is
possible defined by the world, culture, relationships, and so many limiting factors we're all surrounded by every day and
the real me who knows there's that unexplainable something
more--who knows that if it can be imagined it can be done.
about the communication between your yin & yang, your
anima and your masculine side-- finding balance.
communicating with yourself. sounds schizophrenic, i know.
that's just my interpretation. right nor wrong, just what it means to me. that's the beauty of tool. let go....
