Nice work there. I listened to " Be Thing " and it had a nice vibe going on. I digged the beats you used.
What software did you use to make the songs ?

I enjoyed your tracks, well done.
As far as constructive criticism is concerned, I'm not sure how much I can offer there. I suppose your track titled Pineapple seemed a bit too busy (regarding the lead instrument) from about 1:30 onward. There seemed like an opportunity for a bit of a break at 1:25 that could lead into the rest of the track, but I dunno. Just trying to offer something more than a pat on the back.
Pineapple was my favorite of the bunch by the way...

I really enjoy the sounds you use. I thought Version 3 was nice and creepy...very cool...
I also like the lo-fi ness of Boxing Day.

New Zealand? < that's what it says. Cool.
This stuff really rules. After listening to Dilation, I've been exploring non-lyrical music. But I do think, your works are beginning for a singer. They are screaming: "sing dammit!"
Otherwise, it's something different that I really enjoyed. It gave me a lustmord feel every now and then, and that's a very good thing. Keep it up.

Awesome comments thanks!
I did them all with Reason, it's a pretty solid program, you can make pretty much any sound you want to bar live recordings. Thus no singing. Though in theory I could record stuff (singing, playing my ge-tar) and put the recordings in as samples but I can't be bothered. Plus I'm no lyricist.
It sucks you can only put 4 tracks on that Pure Volume site, perhaps I'll start rotating songs every few months. Or find another site. Anyway, cheers for the comments.

I like what you've done here. Very tasteful ambient work, great tweaking on the beats, perfect study music (that's a compliment, since that's what I use all my favourite ambient stuff for)!
Pineapple reminds me Aphex Twin (actually an ep he released under the name AFX, to be precise) which is a very good thing.
I'd say just keep doing what you;re doing, don't stop exploring, and you'll be just fine!

Cheers for the positive feedback. I'm curious about which AFX track you're talking about (I've got them all). So that's a great compliment thanks.

I can't remember exactly which tracks, but it was definitely reminiscent of the "Hangable Auto Bulb" EP.
