What I take from it is that it sets the mood or describes a mode of deep thought of self reflection. He's almost saying mention something to me, anything and I will ponder this, what does this mean to me? How does it affect me and what can I do about it? How does it make me feel? and on and on
However, this idea somewhat counters the "over-thinking, over-analyzing separates the body from the mind" lyric...unless of course it's meant to be looked at from both angles.
