Limiting Posts

Is there any way you guys can limit posts to prevent post pumping. Or not even limiting posts but limiting the amount of threads posted per week for each person (or something along those lines). It may be a good way to slow down the "flood" of posts. And also will probably make all of your jobs a little easier. Im sure you guys can find a good way to make this work...

No i have not, but this section is still really new and if you did something like that now, you might not have as big of a problem a year or two from now when theres 100 times or more users posting things every day. Its only going to grow and the more users there are, the more likely you are to find people pumping posts.

I agree with that guy. As the Opinion section grows, there is going to be a lot of crap posts just so people can get to higher levels. I think there should be a way to limit threads or posts.

On the subject of "Post Pumping" I want suggest that the socialise section be broken down into specific sections. This is because there are a lot threads in that Forum and some of the better ones are getting lost amongst the crap.

Oh, and thanks, this Opinion section rocks, I love it.
