Me loves it... it looks so damn abstract for a simple nature photograph... its, just, bootiful...

Also, if I knew anything about photography, I'd say something useful here, but I dont, so I guess I'll leave you with... Keep doing whatever it is you're doing.

to be honest, i just point and shoot.
well no.
i point
fiddle with angles
frame in viewfinder
then shoot.

i like playing about with exposures and over exposures, but sometimes that gets disheartening cuz if the setting is wrong, all you get is blurrs. yah.

THANKS FOR COMMENTING HUNNYSUCKLE!

Re: Living Rock

Finally you have graced us with another photo. Honestly SadSummer, you have been slacking off on the photos. You must post more, or I will be forced to cut your pay.

In other words, I liked it. Grassy-Ass amigos.

Re: Living Rock

hey, well its not my fault!
I don't have a scanner down at school and hell if I'm going to shoot digital.
There will be more to come sooner than later.
thanks for the kind words.

Re: Living Rock

Nice photo!
I can't tell if it was taken from a vast distance, or if it was a close up. Its a very weird perspective warp. I was just thinking the other day, that it might be time to bump some of your old photographs, or see some new ones.

Not to make demands of your creativity, but you take some seriously nice photos. A lot of the time for me, a good photograph consists of a simple everyday object being photographed in a way which makes you reconsider its form. A lot of your photos have that effect.

Ok, I'm done praising.

Re: Living Rock

well, i appreciated each word of praise as gold.
the picture is in fact, taken quite close up.
it was taken at the mouth of northwestern ontario's largest waterfall.
bump old pictures if you'd like - i've lost track of which i have actually posted here, so limit myself on which to put up.
have you seen the shots of ice I did? they might satisfy your urge to see everyday occurances at weird angles. let me know, and thank you again.

I don't remember the ice, but I remember the sunsets, and the best ones, which were the ones of your college campus at night. Those were fucking badass, and the "tracers" on the streetlamps, and building lights were cool as hell. Take some photos at the Lamb of God show when you go damn it.

Re: Living Rock

Nice. I like it as well. For just a simple nature shot it does take on something different. Not a bad job.
