I somehow believe that too, it looks real, and pretty cool, by the way. Plus, noone said that the official artwork posted on toolband was the actual album cover. So, as for now - I think that we are looking at the album's booklet.

I believe this is evidence (if that is truly the album art) that can begin backing up most of claims that what we have been given so far is a complete farce.

Just cross your eyes so that the images overlap, tilting your head so that they match up exactly. You might have to move towards or away from the screen, too. I finally managed to get it, but now I feel dizzy and nauseated. It's seriously worth it, though; this is really well done.

I don't really see how this shows what you say it does at all. Is Maynard in the picture holding up a sign that says "the album is not called ten thousand days, and these are the only four images in the packaging so the art we posted was fake too" and I just don't see it?

Not really. It is in fact a scan from the middle of the booklet (or somewhere near the middle) as you can see at the edges: it's gonna be a 30-pages booklet or something. No lyrics featured though :(.

And singles don't have booklet, so it has to be the album.

I didn't say the album name... I suppose I should have expressed more detail in my claim. I meant the album art that was given on the "album-mini". Doesn't look like it ties in at all with those leaked images, if they are real.

I think I agree with you that they wouldn't really match up all that well. But, as has been said, they never said what role the image from the album-mini plays in the actual album.

That isn't the cover. It's an "album-mini". It was posted on Toolband.com, and an explanation of what it is. It is not the "album cover", it is just a representation of the album to tide over retailers to put on their product listing until the album is released.

I would speculate that if the representation of 10,000 Days and the "fool" logo is the image we all see on Amazon.com and this leak is indeed real, then we are looking forward to an album that probably is not entitled 10,000 Days. (I believe this was mentioned a few posts above me citing the same evidence).

But what does it matter. We got only 3 weeks to go.

yea, you could have said that about lateralus as well. that alex grey painting might be on the inside of a sleeve, or this might be on the inside of a sleeve. or maybe this is the front and back of the cover booklet?

Gajarigon has clearly stated that the album WILL be titled 10,000 days and that the image that is on toolband is the front cover. These images are from the booklet.

I reckon the Alex gray "cover" could also been an anti-leak measure. If people wanted to leak/steal the new tool album before it releases, they'd probably have seen the "album cover". So they will be looking for this non-exsistant cd cover, while the real tool album could be Aenima/Undertow style, just the artwork and no words on the cover.

Brought this into photoshop and layered the two bottom halves on top of each other. The "flower" looks like it's "growing" from the first image to the 2nd image. If we had the complete series of images, the flower might transition from just the rings beneath the flower to a complete blossom. "Flip book" style.
