so my friend has a subscription to rocksound magazine, and she just got the new copy of it. she's a tool fan, and she new i'd be as interested as she was about this article they've written about them. it's like a two page spread with a massive photo of maynard and justin, with a small piece of writing. The article claims the title to be "ten thousand days", but also three of the albums track titles to be "ten thousand days", "lost keys" and "rosetta stoned". tbh, i didn't know what to make of it....so i just kinda thought i'd share it.

The Rock Sound website doesn't mention anything about Tool being in their latest issue.

My God, if, after all the debate, LK ended up standing for "Lost Keys"...

Straining my eyes, I was able to make out "Ten Thousand Days" and "Rosetta Stoned."
"Ten Thousand Days" at the end of the fourth line of small text, and the word "Rosetta" at the end of the 12th.

to be honest im not sure what to think, because i don't even know if i believe this tracklisting. i'm wondering why they'd only mention two titles apart from ten thousand days, but maybe thats just them teasing or whatever.

Remember it's an album about frustration.
"Lost keys (Blame Hofmann)"? It's the new Poppy the clown, great! Is Hofmann the inventor of LSD? Lol.
But Maynard says it's NOT a political album, at least not in an obvious/Green day way.

Yeah...plus wasn't there supposed to be an information "embargo" until 9 March? Or was that just speculation / Andy King?

Maybe it was an embargo on the reviews and the music itself. The article doesn't say anything about the music.

Well, not sure if it's a real title or just a working title or just total BS, but Hofmann would be referring to Albert Hofmann, the chemist who first synthesized LSD.

Interesting find. I'm not sure what I think about it though. If anything, I can see the band screwing with reporters at this point, considering how rabid everyone is being about obtaining titles and such. A nice big 'fuck you too'.

yeah there was, but i didnt know when it was supposed to be until. IF "lost keys" is a real title, it reminds me of LAMC, as someone said above, it could jokingly be about frustration. I'm still very skeptical about all this though.

Two songs about drugs... aren't they supposed to have grown up? It can't be real titles. They are obvious jokes. I hope the album isn't a joke. But these titles are funny.

My personal opinion is that those were the working titles.
