Re: 2007/06/23 - Ft. Wayne, IN - Memorial Coliseum
They've never been to Fort Wayne before...I liken this to the Stones or Beatles coming to shitty Fort Wayne during their prime...I think the last major concert we had at the Coliseum was Korn back in '01 so we're WAY OVERDUE!

Re: 2007/06/23 - Ft. Wayne, IN - Memorial Coliseum
You won't be dissapointed...and I was refering to bands that were in their prime and still on top of their game. Not that NIN is bad, but nothing close to back around the Downward Spiral days. Anyway, I'm interested to see how the visuals work out in the Coliseum...
Re: 2007/06/23 - Ft. Wayne, IN - Memorial Coliseum
I'm looking for a couple of GA tickets or something close to the stage on the sides. I have a pair lined up but would love to get closer if possible. If anyone has extras please let me know...
Re: 2007/06/23 - Ft. Wayne, IN - Memorial Coliseum
I am so excited about this show. I am driving up from indy and am wondering what there is to do in Ft. Wayne.....maybe you guys can help me out!
So this will be the 7th time I will see Tool. I have been hopping around different message boards. Why is it that so many people hate Tool and there fans? I don't understand it really. They are an amazing band that kicks ass live! Well see ya at the show!
Re: 2007/06/23 - Ft. Wayne, IN - Memorial Coliseum
Fort Wayne isn't nearly as cool as Indy, but there are a bunch of places to eat and several bars right around the Coliseum...I'd recommend having a few drinks before arriving and trying to avoid the $8 beers. The Coliseum itself isn't bad...MUCH BETTER than the fairgrounds in Indy, sort of like a slightly smaller Conseco. As far as the fans go, Tool is awfully popular around here so I'd anticipate a full show which should be cool.
Re: 2007/06/23 - Ft. Wayne, IN - Memorial Coliseum
Thanks for your help. I looked at the Coliseum website and I saw that they did some extensive renovations. It looks like a cool place. I have been to the Pepsi Coliseum a million times, and I love it there but it is too small.
Re: 2007/06/23 - Ft. Wayne, IN - Memorial Coliseum
i dont really like conseco..sound kinda sucks there...so i hope memorial coliseum is better. anyways pepsi coliseum is cool...saw apc there a couple years ago,

Have you checked out the website for the Coliseum yet? If not you should, it gives a nice seating chart for concerts and alot of pictures of the Coliseum. Here is the URL...

Re: 2007/06/23 - Ft. Wayne, IN - Memorial Coliseum
It's as close as you want it to be Waroco...The entire floor is General Admission so you can get as close to the stage as you want....You'll have to fight your way through a sea of assholes, however. Also, I haven't seen any GA tickets that have a # on them...thats odd that your's says 7.

Re: 2007/06/23 - Ft. Wayne, IN - Memorial Coliseum
i just looked at my ticket, it says GA6 and it also has a seat #. i think they do that just so they can keep track of how many tickets they sell? who knows...
Re: 2007/06/23 - Ft. Wayne, IN - Memorial Coliseum
Ya man, I've traveled to Indy (twice), Detroit, Chicago, Columbus, and St. Louis to see 'em before. Wouldn't miss the only opportunity to see the greatest live show in my home town!
Re: 2007/06/23 - Ft. Wayne, IN - Memorial Coliseum
are they really gonna tear it down?!? youve got to be kidding me... i heard it was up for sale like a year ago and that no one bought it...but i havent heard anything lately...this sucks so bad....i love going to verizon...i am spending like the whole summer there this year...so many concerts, such good times... im gonna be heartbroke if they tear it down. that place brings in a shit ton of money, i dont get it.
Re: 2007/06/23 - Ft. Wayne, IN - Memorial Coliseum
yeah its an amazing venue but sadly...the last year. Now noblesville is going to suck again. and im also spending the summer there pretty much going to every concert
Re: 2007/06/23 - Ft. Wayne, IN - Memorial Coliseum
I agree with you guys...I saw Tool for the 1st time back when it was Deer Creek. I can't believe that there needs to be more land for fucking housing additions! Anyway, hopefully Conseco will be a big enough venue to draw the top acts like Tool. Hope the Coliseum and Fort Wayne are welcoming enough for the fans and band members to come back soon! BTW, a special thanks to Thadman for hooking me up with some FLOOR TICKETS at a legit price. God Bless The True Fans...
Re: 2007/06/23 - Ft. Wayne, IN - Memorial Coliseum
Anyone going out after the show? I am trying to find a cool place for me and my friends to have a drink after the show. Thought maybe we could set up a meeting place.
Re: 2007/06/23 - Ft. Wayne, IN - Memorial Coliseum
Tim Eldridge of dBA Acoustics, a respected consulting and design services firm, recently helped raise the roof of the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum to allow for bigger audiences and better sound throughout. Initially a 10,000-seat indoor stadium, primarily used for events such as hockey games and various traveling shows, the venue's owner felt it was time to fully renovate and increase seating capacity by a third. This required the removal of the venue's roof. It was cut free and raised with cables while upper seating sections and suites were built underneath.
Re: 2007/06/23 - Ft. Wayne, IN - Memorial Coliseum
I can't wait, this will be my first Tool show. I hope they play Pushit like they have been on a few dates! I just hope there aren't a bunch of immature assholes throwing things on stage and taking pictures.
