LOL at someone finding some kind of connection. I think you were the first one to mention a banana at all, in fact.
I wonder if there are any threads that stay on topic throughout.

It's times like this when Wikipedia comes into it's own:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Banana
That specifically says: "Banana is the common name for a fruit and also the herbaceous plants of the genus Musa which produce the commonly eaten fruit."
And, also :
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fruit
Which specifically says: "Seedlessness is an important feature of some fruits of commerce. Commercial cultivars of bananas and pineapples are examples of seedless fruits. Some "

nice, wonder if he got any favours of the sexual kind from them?
none of my business actually, back to the album
The thirteenth step feels to me like another Undertow, only maybe softer?
I find them to both be quite emotional, although i like Undertow better

I agree ^^
Don't know about their demo's they'd put out "pre-Opiate". Was their style also the same at that time?

Most of the songs they had on Opiate were the songs they already had been playing prior to receiving a record deal. If you search YouTube there's some videos of the band performing some of those songs in what looked like either a garage or a very small bar, pretty sure it was a garage though.

Oh come on guys, don't you know? Banana's have the same chemicals as the hormones or whatever that make you feel happy. I think its like a natural prozac or something, all i know is that its hard to be angry when you're eating a banana. Thats why people never get attacked by a troop of monkeys, only by one single monkey.
What were you thinking, natures dildo? lol

Think of it as a natural drug. Plus you don't get caught by the cops while toting 10 kg of bananas around, they'll just think you're weird
T_I_S heres how your sermon should start.
There was nothing, then Maynard said "let there be Dumbasses" and Tool fans were born from the Undertow album (which kicked ass)......

And the fans decided "We need an outlet, a place to throw our interpretations, a place where we can decipher the reason for Maynard" and thus, they created the TDN. And the interpretations abounded, from tetris to communication, from winegums to shadows, and then a unsung idiot called Oversoul22 began a thread in which the circle jerking trio began to contribute, and then the dedicated ones arrived and began to expand the topic, talking about bananas and post counts..... to be continued
