Thanks! I didn't really mess around with the original image that I took of the tree, but it seems that the high/low exposure of the HDR imaging allows you to really make colors pop.

the first half of pictures are taken with my nikon 5700. 35-280mm zoom, 5.0 mega-pixels. not bad for $250-- ebay. someday i'll upgrade to SLR.

the second half is with my old 35mm... pentax ZX-60 with a 75-300mm Tamron lense. it took better pics than my digital does, but film is sooo expensive and inconvenient.

i just looked at your flickr page. u have some great photography skills. i really love the waterfalls and the sunsets. what kind of camera(s) do u use?

Cheers man, photography is a good way to chill out hey...
I use a canon 350D (rebel XT in the states I think) which is an entry-level Digital SLR... I don't know much about cameras but the 350D is awesome and has served me well in the two years I've had it.

Keep up the good work.

Re: Photo of the Day

I caught a meteor shower this morning on my way in to work. I was admiring the sunrise when I noticed something flying through the sky looking like a very "different" airplane... I looked it up when I got home and it turns out it's the Leonid meteor shower that's occuring over the 5-6 day period roughly between 14-20th November, peaking, as luck would have it, on the 17th, when I took these photos. 5:50am.

Re: Photo of the Day

Picture taken by a crappy throw away thingy. I scanned in the crappy picture, on my crappy scanner, but the result is still brilliant.

it was taken in france, some day in august. it was on the GR10 trail in the Pyrenees. There was this strange cross on a hill (not that high, but nasty climb). It was about 3 meters high. I had the brilliant idea to climb in it and my mate took the picture with the mountains on the background.

http://img255.imageshack.us/img255/5...board01ty4.jpg

Too bad my friend forgot his digital camera, so we shouldn't have bought this crap camera and have no real good pictures from the hike.

This is one of the coolest places on earth. Where I am standing the rocks have all been folded. The ones to the right are standing straight up and the ones to the left are overturned. Behind me are petroglyphs done in clay smearings (red and green). It happens to be in Utah!
