okay so i friend of mine has been racking his brain trying to find out what this one symbol in the video at the 3:50 mark..it looks like this *attepmts to insert a picture* http://www.violater.150m.com/stinkfistsymbol.jpg

Strange...

I'm thinking it's got something of a double meaning somehow.

I see organic representation. A..."stinkfist" tunnel...if you follow. But there may be some kind of symbolic reasoning behind it all, too.

I get the impression of something watery, the cross brings religion into it, neither having much at all to do with the meaning behind the song.

looks like the Chinese characters for 2, 10, and 3... going from top to bottom.. put together meaning.... 23.. could have.. something to do with the chromosome number in humans? hmm... .. like.. the haploid gametophytic n stage.. 2 gametes fusing to form a 2n diploid

Man, I have no idea what Tool (or mainly Adam) is trying to say with this video, but it's amazing. I played it to my friend who was about to throw up, and I don't understand why. All these weird people on their videos are so impressive. I just love them.

I had to look for a while to find it.
They are the Chinese characters for twenty-three (2 x 10 + 3).

has anyone noticed that towards the begining of the song, when the man has that machine hooked up to him where he looks like he's breathing throught it, he spreads the wires like a pussy? no clue what that means, but one of you probably knows
