I have come to the conclusion that Lateralus is by far the best album to relax to. Tonight i managed to score a strain of marijuana i had never heard of prior to getting. It's called mothers milk and it kicked my ass from here to uranus and back then back to uranus. So, i pack my little one hitter take a big hitski, hold for 20 sec. or so, exhale and press play. This bud got me so baked that as soon as the grudge kicked in i had uncontrollable goosebumps that stayed with me through the entire album. It really does take me on a journey every time i listen to it. So, the point of this story is...if you can find some dank nuggs grab 'em, schmoke 'em and listen to lateralus.
Anyone else care to share their moments on lateralus?
You should look into a very unkown band called The Ills. It's hard to explain their style of music but it is awesome, and awesome to relax too. They're not like TOOL but they are still phenomenal(don't know how to spell). Google them. If you disagree with me, then I'll never talk to you again. (Just kidding. You're entitled to your own opinion).
P.S. You want to Google The Ills band. There will be sites where you can buy their album, it's the only way I know to get their music. Or you could just illegally download their stuff, although I'm not suggesting that.(wink, wink).

I have seen Sober, Flood, Stinkfist, H., Forty-six & 2, Ænema, The Grudge, Eon Blue Apocalypse, The Patient, Schism, Parabola, Lateralus, Disposition, Reflection, Triad, Vicarious, Jambi, Wings For Marie, 10,000 Days, The Pot, Rosetta Stoned, Right in Two, and Holiday In Cambodia performed live.
i could listen to that song all day and just contemplate the world and its doings all day and not notice the passing time... and i completely agree. this is the best album to relax too. imo of course. a perfect balance between hard core and softer rock.
I got high off a homemade lung a few weeks ago, and as I laid in bed listening to the Stereo it switched CDs and on came the Lateralus album.
Mostly due to the fact that the rhythms are enjoyable---for the most part---couple with the fact that Keenan writes, at the very least, pieces that lend themselves to descriptive interpretation.
But to be fair to other things in the world, there are very few things I dislike when I'm stoned.
Its not A world record, i saw someone who got banned after one post, can't remember the name but his post was hilariously offensive. can't quote unfortunatley

Hm..that sounds intriguing. I listened to lateralus and thought i was way above the limit of my mindset. It's weird to explain, i felt like i was connected to so many things at once and felt open and free.

"mothers milk kicked my ass from here to your anus" :)
Sorry for being like 2 years late on this but I think you managed to overlook post #4 Rolo. Good Day. That would be the worldrecord so your not smelling anything.
