It's not a particularly great shot, but I liked the shadow that was cast.

This is a picture I took a couple weeks ago in east Tennessee. It was a really foggy morning and the light was amazing.

I'd clone out the power poles on that one, but it looks good.

Re: Photo of the Day
Here's a couple pictures I took Spring Break last year while I was backpacking through the Grand Canyon. The first one was taken in th afternoon as a storm was moving in. The second was taken from my tent the next morning. We couldn't believe it snowed since it had been around 70 to 80 the first few days of the trip. But we got much more snow over the next couple days.
stormy evening
the next morning
I hope you like them. I'll probably post some more pics from this trip over the next few days.

This is a picture from Italy, Tuscany to be exact, it was really hard to capture how beautiful it is with my lack of photography skills, but I did like how this one turned out

I was out with my phone tonight when the sun began to set, so I took some snaps and they turned out pretty well, especially for a cellphone.

Last night, the mountain which I live at the base of (Mt. Dandenong) was on fire due to controlled back burning that the local fire authority is doing to prevent fires next summer. I went to a few different spots looking for a good photo, and I singled out four that turned out alright. They were about 4-8 second exposures using a tripod, mostly 1600 ISO speed.

Cool pictures. They go well with your avatar, ha ha. I like the first one with the buildings in front and those lit up towers (?) in the background.

Hah! Yeah, I guess it kinda does suit my avatar. Those definitely are towers - they transmit TV signals across Melbourne. Cheers.
I made up this
short animation from six photos I took in sequence. Wish I'd take some more!
So anyway, I wandered up on to the mountain tonight and got some shots.

clouds at sunset at the woodford folk festival 05/06.
I took a very similar shot from the same position at during the 06/07 festival but accidentally deleted it [along with all my other photos] :(
i like
this shot. My flash was off, and a friend of mine took a photo at the same instance [standing to the left] with her flash on.
purely by accident!
