Don't know if anyone hear has taken the time or not but you can view source on the news page and in html comments you see the id of the message and the id of the author who posted the message. Blair is almost always 12 but the artwork, track listing, infamous post about a mysterious website not causing problems, and the Febuary News Letter anouncement are by an author with id 10. It is completely possible that Blair simply logs in with a different username when he has posted this stuff but I kind of doubt it. I would imagine that it is someone else with edit priveledges on the CMS (Content Management System).
Author with id 14 has claimed to be numerous people including, BMB, MJK, and kat.
Author with id 10 has claimed to be BMB, and kat but most of the time posts without applying a signature.
Author with id 0 has claimed to be BMB, The Tool Family,
Author with id 11 has posted about the Adam's Pig from the Undertow Album with no authorship claimed and then again about Spiral Eye's with BMB claimed. Also with the death of Johnny Cash with no sig.
Author 59 has posted Happy Halloween without any sig.
Author 67 has posted a couple of times without any sig.
Author 50 no sig. Two posts, one about Adams pigs.
Author 56 no sig. One post about 2002 preparation for the tour in a warehouse.
Author 13 post about www.danneycarey.org. Another post saying "Today we've published the latest newsletter from Blair" Not to mention every post between March 2nd, 2002 and July 6, 2002.
So there you have it, all the unique authors back to March 2nd, 2002. Don't know if this actually means anything or not, but I've got my suspicions on a couple of them.
By the way. For those who have been asking quesitons about the shockwave stuff on dissectional and the site, you can download and decompile the shockwave files and see all the secrets for yourself. But I have yet to find anything really interesting.

Thanks for that work dude. Also, some people noticed the actual news post IDs skip numbers sometimes... newest is 1829, then 1828, then the one with the images is 1822.
I've been watching the posts for quite a while now, and have checked the "skipped" numbers whenever they were there (using some sneaky technique) and there's nothing missing - they're either blank or, back when tours were announced, contained one tour date/city each (as listed in a later post.)

I thought it was well laid out and informative, he did some research and posted his findings. Why does everyone on this site have to be a dick, how about a "thanks."
That was a hell of a first post =)
I've done plenty of poking around on toolarmy and toolband, decompiled all the flash I could get my hands on, and found some interesting stuff, but nothing secret or hidden. I don't know enough about PHP to do other things on toolarmy, besides looking up individual posts, and don't think there's a way to tell what's in the .php files anyway (since they're compiled server side, our browser just gets html.)

It's probably just a number given to a certain computer. Maybe one day Blair was with Adam and was like "Oh fuck I forgot to with Steve a Happy Birthday, can I use your puter?" and Adam let him and then Adam decided to update one day and they had the same author I.D. I'm not trying to be a dick, but looking at every author I.D. back to March of 2002 is looking too much into it.

The author IDs correspond to the Tool Army account IDs. The two websites are actually pretty integrated. Likewise, the missing posts (some of them, anyway) would be when there's been an 'exclusive' post on ToolArmy that's not showing up on Toolband.

Its on the page where you can choose between toolband, toolarmy, and dissectional.
The once upon a forest link leads to a site where a guy uses crazy multiple layers of pics to create art.
