hi dunno if this is the right place to put this but didnt think it fit any where else. any ways i just got into drumming and was wondering if any of you guys out there had some suggestions on good books/dvds etc to help me get going in the right direction.

hey, i think here's a good place to begin. This guy gives a nice warm-up to start with before you really get into the more difficult stuff.

Vic firth has a ton of video's.
If by "DL" vids or books you meant drumline, umm..... I don't really like Bill Bachman as a person but....Quad, Bass, and Snare Logic are three really good books to start you out on technique.
Musician's Friend has a good selection of drum vids/books

Interstate Music has an incredible catalog, they even send you a free "wish book" around Christmas time and they ship fast aswell. The books they send you make you drool.

Lots of famous drummers make vids, but is is usually them showing off.
So if you can read music, books are the way to go.

And iota if you did mean Drumline and need help feel free to PM me, I've been into it for a long time, so I'll do my best to help.
