Consider the album length - 1:15:45. Now that's 75.75 minutes. Maynard was 11 in 1975. I just think it's a nice touch, being a tribute to his mother and all.
I see it as a symbol of transition, a point of change at a certain point in Maynard's life.
Anyone care to opine or maybe come up with some more things about 75.75? or the whole 11:11 connection?

track #11 is viginti tres (which I learned on this site means 23) and it has 11 letters

i'm actually pretty impressed by this. seeing how tool does nothing by accident, i doubt this was a coincidence. it seems to bring the album outside itself from just being 11:11 in a certain song to being a universal time.

ok about the albums duration...i highly doubt that was intentional, especially because Blair ws shocked that a certain segue didn't make it on to the final release because of time constraints, which means the song was too long to fit on the disc. so seeing as how they had wanted an additional song on the album, this leads me to believe that the total album length is just a coincidence.

Well, i think the album lenght can be easily modified with Viginti Tres, so it doesnt matter that they originally wanted an other segue as well...
(But this creates a duel between theories with Viginti Tres' length and the albums overall length...only one may remain:))
