I ended up getting tix for the club level, right besides the stage, on adam and maynards side. Hope they're decent seats. I've only been on the floor at the xcel.

This concert is going to be so awesome. If you have not seen TOOL before, get off of your ass and get tickets. The last two times TOOL has played Minnesota, they kicked so much ass. I have no doubt in my mind that whatever happens, or whatever they play, I will be leaving very satisfied. TOOL RULES!
Can't fucking wait for June 26 to roll around. Second tool show for me, first for the two people going with me. Got shite tickets, section 210, but at least i'll have a good view for the lasers and shit.

totally. i m o, one of the best feelings ever is in between songs at a concert when you're waiting to hear the first notes of the next song. and when they play the song you wish for its a hundred times better.
Anyone know if melt banana is opening for this show? Ticketmaster still says opening band "tba". I will shart my pants if they play pushit. I have a feeling they will mix it up for us a little bit seeing its their 3rd time here within 13 months. Either way I wont complain, just happy to be seeing them again ; ) Cant stand it when people bitch about the setlist. Tool is easily one of the best bands of our generation, so soak it up while you still can.
It'll be me and my girlfriends second show. My two buddy's first. I'm kind of hoping for somthing other than right in two, but then again i want to hear it live because of the way people have been talking it up.
i don't think we'll be seeing melt-banana. on their website their tour dates stop a couple days before Tool get's here. we better get someone good.

I seen they played the pot & Aenima at the bonnaroo festival thingy. I sure hope they bring Aenima back for us as a closer. Still no word on an opening band?...
big business is the opening act. their myspace page has them playing the xcel center on the 26.
"BIG BUSINESS has two guys in it. It is spelled here in capital letters so you know we're talking about a serious band. Jared Warren plays the bass guitar and sings. He used to be in this band KARP and then he was in this other band for awhile name of TIGHT BROS FROM WAAAY BACK WHEN. Coady Willis plays the drums and sometimes yells and stuff. He used to be in the MURDER CITY DEVILS and probably some other bands you haven't ever heard of."

WTF? I checked out their myspace page, and I sure hope you cant judge a band by their picture!! But I seen they had done some work with the melvins, so maybe they might be worth a listen...if not I'll be standing in line with the rest of ya getting a beer.
