I usually listen to Tool albums all the way through with the aide of milkdrop, as some of you probably also do. I just want to let anyone know who hasn't tried playing this song with milkdrop yet they really need to. The soft first half of the song reacts in a very soothing emotional way with milkdrop that transitions very evenly. Then all of a sudden you get into the more harsh guitar and the electronic beats and milkdrop turns into an extremely fragmented and fast moving visual, its definitely the best reacting song I've ever played on milkdrop.

I'm reading this post thinking milkdrop is some kind of weird-ass psychedelic I've never heard of. It wasn't until the end of the post that I actually figured out which 'milkdrop' you were talking about.
Gives you some indication as to how my brain works I guess.
Anyhoo, I'll definitely be checking this out tonight.

True.
PCs come in all shapes and forms these days though. I have a Home Theatre PC jacked into my plasma and surround system in my loungeroom with comfy couches. I've no problem listening to music behind that PC :)

It depends where you computer is, and what you have hooked to it. Mines in my bedroom so I can be on my bed and listen, and although I have a reciever and 4 klipsch satellites and 2x10" subs hooked up to it, I usually listen with some headphones. I have a pretty good soundcard so that helps too. And I just have the not-so-great quality internet verison for now, my CD is in the mail.

Listening to tool on headphones all in one sitting is something you do every once in a while, makes it more special.

My Milkdrop sucks. I have seen some screenshots which look awesome but they look NOTHING like mymilkdrop. My milkdrop is only gray, black and white pixelated shitty circles which tremble a bit. could somebody give me a link to a cool milkdrop versio please?

^ Hehe. So true. I've been completely unaware of entire albums playing before. Can be a good little test for an album though. See whether it'll grab your attention or get your finger tapping on the mouse while you're engrossed in, well, porn or something...
