Thanks so much for the updates! Will be interesting to see how the tour unfolds and what other songs make it into rotation.

By the looks of it the upgrade is no thin screens in front of Maynard and DC, just an array of lights and a slit cut in the main back screen for more lasers. Centered in the heptagram, this is based on live vids of Instagram and snapchat.

It COULD theoretically go where 3rd eye is now in roation. I would hope that with a 12 min intermission they could still play a closer like Lateralus extended after an extended stinkfist. Interesting to see what rotation takes place.

Although like so many I would love to see a completely revamped setlist but I can't complain.

From what I can see it looks like one more song than the last tour.

Can't wait for May 31st!

Yeah....It looks like most shows on the last tour got either Vicarious OR Sweat.

When I see them both played they remove Parabol.

If we get Parabol, Vicarious and Sweat at each show it will be slightly better setlist than most shows from the last tour.

I also think that Third Eye > No Quarter.....and I really like the No Quarter cover.

Well if we want to get technical from their last non-festival set the only difference is Vicarious added, and the order changed:

Third Eye
The Grudge
Parabol
Parabola
Schism
Opiate
Ænema
Descending
Jambi
Forty-Six & 2
Drum Solo
Sweat
(-) Ions
Stinkfist

Great setlist for sure and nice to see the show made a little longer, still a little disappointed there isn't anything "new" in the setlist (yet)

Re: General Tool Discussion

Well if we want to get technical from their last non-festival set the only difference is Vicarious added, and the order changed:

Third Eye
The Grudge
Parabol
Parabola
Schism
Opiate
Ænema
Descending
Jambi
Forty-Six & 2
Drum Solo
Sweat
(-) Ions
Stinkfist

Great setlist for sure and nice to see the show made a little longer, still a little disappointed there isn't anything "new" in the setlist (yet)

Well I booked my hotel for Sacramento, we'll see if I actually go or not...

Hotels in San Jose are just stupid expensive right now.

Not since 2002. They did the Timothy Leary intro last night.

Well, the curveball (the Opiate re-recording and video) has been shown at the VIP sessions apparently.

Great to see Eulogy in the set - I expected that there would be something new this tour, and that seems to be it. Not a huge Vicarious fan, so good swap for me. Replace Parabol/a with Lateralus and it's almost the perfect set.

Fuck yes Eulogy!!!!!! That and H are on my wish list. Did the VIP in 2014 the guy babysitting us said that they played that during the private sound check. Man did I get my hopes up for seeing that song the last 5 or 6 times I have seen them since. Haha

So what does everyone think about this going forward? I find it weird that Eulogy wasn't played night one. Maybe they just didn't feel like they had rehearsed it enough? Really hoping we don't have a Ticks & Leeches where its not played at every show.

I think dropping vicarious is the best part of eulogy being played.

Definitely a plus. I enjoy the song but its not my favorite live. Hope they don't rotate the two.Would be a real disservice to fans.

Shouldn't they have been mad when they paid double face value for a ticket?
