rocks the paper
winter hazard and little jackie
papers; played with puffs all day long and look where it got them.
rocks paper is used to determine the outcome of a disputed call in volleyball and jackie paper isnt burnin with puffs any more is he? i havent heard anything to say he is.
fold these things into my most quiet tomorrow,
loathe little airplanes left to drift in the vaccuum
hapless and scribbled with intentions.
monkeys out the window seem so amusing,
playful and remeniscent.
This shaven, thin and wet figure in the door is unsettling,
without a word he threshes the floor from under me,
makes me thresh,
hands me a dictionary and tells me to write in the space where
a drying pink pinecone should be.
Decayed by the wind
black as charcoal
holding up for so long...
I release their tension
I undo what has been done
without a whisper I discard the remains
like they were never useful to me at all.

snake eyes..
The grand illusion.
Six sides, different, but all the same number?
One plus One is One that is Greater.
One and One on opposite sides of each other.
One and One finish our appointment..
It's like a rubiks cube where all sides are the same color
"They fought and they clawed like savages. At the end none had found what they were looking for; and they simply returned to nothing, like they were before."
as hell's existence
does not give heaven verity
in the eyes of a barber, splitting a single strand of hair
into two, no, four strands, splitting those four strands back again
all four, (or eight, was it thirty-two?) leading back to sheets of dead skin
a pale pallet, brown-nosed, diving into pink.
with eyelids fluttering,
reminiscing of the finale: a certain black bird
giant wings lift up and carry her away
into the night,
falling, fading, closing as the shutters call out the curtains,
this ending, now nothing more than hindsight.
not a difference is made.
I remain dry, just so I'll know
all is still right.
I would not dare gamble with that kind of closure.
