I thought it could be a good opportunity to get a more "worldly" perspective on the stuff here too though...

Sm57 for the vocals, fruity loops for the drums, cool edit 2.1, guitars DI'd straight from my Boss GT6 essentially I'm a one man band with my singer laying down the vox after- I'm totally new to the mixing thing, only been at it for a few months now and it is only a demo so - don't be too hard on me!

The last thing we need is another generic rock/metal band. And your singer is awful. And those drums sound like shit.

Oh nevermind, you used fruity loops for the drums. They still suck.

To be honest and not an asshole like that other guy, it does sound pretty generic, like ive heard it before. Resembles Earshot, i think. Came to my mind. Doesnt sound bad, The drums do sound out of place. The singing isnt bad, but your singer should find more of a personal style. It does sound done before. Try to make the music a little more dynamic, changing, layered. Thats all i have to say.

To the mixing part, it sounds pretty good for a beginner, a few tips to make it sound more produced, run things through compressers and limiters more. Try doing some stereo imaging, like make the guitars that are mostly on the left have a slightly different sound or different EQ than the one on the right, separate them ever so slightly to produce a "bigger sounding" effect that makes the whole song sound fuller and wider, resulting in the other insturments becoming clearer too. just work more with the levels and panning.

And to the other guy, come on... you really are an asshole.

I really don't think it's bad. The singer ... is not bad. I actually somewhat like his voice. Reminds me of godsmack/disturbed, so Shade is right. It will appeal to a wide audience, but it isn't very unique.

The guy on the left looks like Triple H.

Thanks dudes for the comments... that is probably gonna be the first single - mainly because of the accessibility of it and it's hooks. My singer hasn't had that much live experience but is fucken loud and powerful (my shitty vocal recording really doesn't do him justice) but it is only a demo at this stage.

well no seems to like but i dont give a fuck i liked your song alot i thought it was pretty kick ass.i really liked the guitar and the bridge.oh and my friend really liked the song to.good job keep making music so i can listen to it.
