did you take those two nature photographs? they kick ass if that is the case, keep going with that. as for the charcoal, it's good, the figure is really hard though, takes months just to get the structure down. life drawing classes are cool, they teach you a lot if you have a good teacher, there are also things online like little handouts for art teachers that could help you with drawing structure. also with the charcoal, i always would smudge everything i did, then i was really cautious with the charcoal and i didn't smudge one one of em(my teachers wishes), and it turned out to be my best drawing, things look better from far away that way and less flat. otherwise it's better than my first attempt at drawing a nude.
