well in light of the news of a new album,
i realized only tool could release a new CD and then
later release a new video from an old album (the pot)
and not have their fans confused as f*k.
That post was from May 2011 and we're still waiting for the new album. Now I'm really sad. If they release a video for The Pot at any point now it'll be pretty ridiculous.

The video does exist, though Adam mentioned at one of the VIP Q&A sessions that it isn't for The Pot. Presumably it's either being saved for the new album, or is part of this curveball we keep hearing about.

Yes, there were people licking it thinking it was acid the first time around.
Which makes me wonder if that would even do anything? I've always had to keep it under my tongue for 15-20 minutes.
lol yeah, because a renown band is above the law and wouldnt get arrested on distribution charges... it's a cool idea to think about. i mean, i wish i could get LSD with every album i buy. but to actually believe it is/was LSD is ridiculous... i swear, some people dont even try to think.
but same here, i always keep it on my tongue for an hour just to make sure though

I believe the video for "The Pot" was premiered in Detroit when I saw them. The video included visuals never seen on any tour and played like a straight video. It wasn't altered/mirrored/or edited like the videos shown for Schism and Stinkfist. From what I remember, the video matched up within the teases Blair and Adam said or shown years beforehand. There was definitely Adams stop motion style in there and some CGi. I firmly believe that what was shown was the official video for The Pot.
