Studies for oil
I'd like to get into painting. Here I will post studies for possible paintings.
First, a triptych:
Black and white and all.
I hadn't thought that I'd do anything black and white as a first go with oil. It seems counter the medium.

Nostalgia trip:
This makes me think of my favorite experiences with comic books growing up.
Odd size canvases are interesting to me.

Ambient 5: On Sea
This has more of my input in it. Either another triptych or just the finished product (bottom).
On as small a canvas as I can find.

I didn't like it otherwise. Now it's this thing, whatever it is, floating like an iceberg in all that red. Some of my punk attitude coming through: "I don't like this part of it, I know... Let me just haphazardly slap some red over it"
