leavin thurs night to drive 12 hours for the boston show...not quite as bad as the 26 hour drive to red rocks. haha. and havin a couple extra drivers this time around will be nice. Boston this wknd, charlotte next...hopefully they have the visual problems tweaked out by then.

Not sure if there is a better place to post this but figured I try here. If anyone has or has spotted the 2010 okc and red rocks posters for sale other then the super overpriced ones on eBay I would really like to get my hands on them.

How hard is it to get a poster signed? Or do you have to buy one for a zillion dollars?

Can anyone point me in the right direction for trying to find posters, trying to pick up a reno unsigned poster if anyone could help, thanks!

I was wondering if anyone could tell me how much the Adam Jones posters are at the shows, I missed the Cincinnati one last time they were here and am NOT going to miss this one! Please let me know asap as I am leaving at like 12:30pm to get to Toledo! :)

The unsigned ones are normally $25, but the Dallas ones were $30. I'm assuming it was because these were silkscreened....

On the other hand, there were about 3 times as many of them this go around. They usually limit them to 250 unsigned then 100 signed, but the stack of unsigned was at least a foot tall. I'd get there right when doors open and go straight to the merch booth if you want to guarantee you get one. I heard that during the second night at the Dallas show, reps were actually coming outside before the doors opened and selling them.

He might have just been having a tough night. I got a chance to speak with him in Vegas and he couldn't have been nicer. He did say they were having some issues getting some technical kinks worked out on this tour (only the second night when I saw him), but on the whole he was happy about the way things were going. I also ran into Blair after the show, and he was nice enough to stop and talk to me for a minute. He said Vegas was the only show he was going to on this tour (not feeling that good), and that the photo of the "666" I-beam from the Trade Center debris was legit.

2 questions. Are they selling posters unique to each show? And are they selling any autographed posters?

Yes and yes. Korin(sp?) (Adam's girlfriend) designed all the ones up till Dallas which Adam designed. I would guess that everyone except the 2 Dallas shows (since they were the back 2 back on this tour) will get a variation on the Korin design.

How much are the signed posters? How fast have they been selling out?

I have seen $120 or $130 ($130 at the Dallas shows) with the super limited Adam doodle ones going for $300 (I think). They eventually sold out at the Dallas shows both nights, but I remember someone saying there were a few left after the show. The signed ones didn't come out until about 7:45 pm in Dallas both nights.

I paid 130 for the Adam doodled one.

I have an extra unsigned Toledo poster if anyone is interested. Got it because they didn't have the signed ones before the show but I ended up buying a signed one afterwards.

Tool show tonight, and doing the Lion King broadway show (for girlfriend - because i'm too manly for that) tomorrow.

holy shit, SO many cool food options in NYC. easily the coolest thing about this city.

I cant wait to finally see Tool after not seeing them since Reading in 07.

I am straight up doing Lion King with my brother's family and kids in July. Also will do Shakespeare in the Park. And of course I have tickets to Roger Waters at Yankee Stadium for the Friday show. Saturday show announced. May hit that as well.

For you, one more place you might check out for food, if you like lox, is Russ and Daughters. It's just up the street from Katz's. You can get a wide variety of lox there along with appropriate bagles, cream cheese etc. Get it to go and head up to Central Park.

I did mine about a week ago. Was considering going with the purple mat, but decided to go with a dark gray. They came out awesome. I will see about uploading pics at some point.

Have you put a UV light to the poster? I read on Fourth Eye and toolband that you should do that.

I have been reading all the tour reviews and i must say i can't believe some of the negative comments about the shows. People whining "Maynard didn't even speak, left right after the encore, he didn't thank us for coming, he wasn't into the show, blah, blah, blah" Let me just ask some of you - "when you bought your ticket, you did know tool was the band right?" ....i mean if you are a true fan you know how Maynard is on stage, you know what kind of show to expect. Maynard has said several times that he stays off to the back of the stage because the show is not about him, its about the music! Maybe some of these supposed tool fans should stick with going to see shinedown or buck cherry so they can feel some love from the band and get some self-gradification! Honestly, i THANK TOOL for actually making music that is thought provoking and technically superior to ANYTHING out there these days. If the way tool performs is not your idea of a great show, you know what then, don't buy a ticket next time, k?
