Ah! Sorry but I am travelling for work overseas through Sunday. Dammit. Ya that would have been fun. But I'll see you soon enough in SD for Tool and Sabbath in LA.
Just got back from Puscifer. That was... one of the most eclectic shows I have seen in some time. Need to chew over what happened. Much different than the last few times I saw them. Got to say hi to Danny Carey and junior (hi again junior!). Great night.

So I'm out at an outlet for the on sale for S.F. The lady said the second date showed in the computer and then got taken down. Another words somebody f'd up at T.M. and let the cat out of the bag about the second show. Easy tickets for sure the 2nd show be ready. Last year they did it and they went on sale like 2 hours later for the 2nd show.

sounds about right. 10 seconds seem generous compared to rest of the tour.

I tried for extras, just walked out. 3 sets of 4 came out of the machine and that was it. Only 3 of us got our 4 each. Took about 15 minutes for them to pull. That's crazy.

Used the mobile-app and site, right at 0 it was nothing but no seats found. Kept at it for another 5 futile minutes and finally landed a single ticket via the mobile-app. Now to see if I can actually get the time off...

I'll never understand TM - I was on the app right at 12 and kept trying for 5 minutes and got nothing. Some friends kept on going and at around 12:20 was able to get tix. WTF? I mean they're all GA so it's not like people even have to pick seats.

Well I tried for the whole hour and nothing.
I guess I didn't need to really see them again anyway, eh?

Any one else on the TM iOS app get the "tickets not available on mobile site" at first? About an hour later it has let me search for tickets, but not at first. Eye open for a second listing.

I saw a trick mentioned in this very thread and it worked for 2 different pairs for me for the SD Sunday show(once around 10:07 and again around 10:13). I don't know if it will work for you, but if there is a chance, it is worth sharing:
I was using iphone. If it says no tickets, don't just click search again but close all the way out of the app (double click, swipe the app up), then re-enter the app and start again. I was also searching on my computer at the same time and longer, no luck ever on there. It seems based on posts on here people are having much better luck on mobile and I would definitely agree. Mobile did not come up exactly at 10:00, but did a minute or so later. The bottom line is if you swing and miss at 10:00:20 and you think they already sold out, keep swinging.
Good luck

I have been trying to grab a ticket for the sake of the community… I have no intentions on going to San Francisco. If I get one tomorrow it will be up for grabs on here.

Actually this is karma coming back around. I have been helped out by these forums and I'm in a position to give back, hopefully. I'm usually perfectly broke when TOOL tours, but right now I can try and help someone else out.
This ticketmaster/stubhub thing has been getting worse and i don't understand why it continues. I have wondered if the band, or management prefers it this way. Are they the ones flipping tickets for 1000% markup? Paranoid conspiracy theories, I'm sure.
Oh well. Time to look up an outlet location and see if I can do THAT before I work at 11 tomorrow. FML.

kanaduh is drunk so please forgive me for bringing the subject back to "that other side project".
but jesus tapdancing christ - Agostina is such an absolutely beautiful song. if you are one of those people still against everything puscifer - check your ego at the door and for the love of god listen to this tune from the new album.
"welling waves of tears in recognition of what patience will provide.
when radiating celestial bodies fatefully collide"
it's a song about his newly born daughter. i know it's not TOOL, and i respect that everyone has their own opinion...but how on earth so many tool fans are so anti-puscifer... is just mind boggling at this point.

Kind of hard to believe there are Tool concerts happening in just a few weeks.

Tons of tics available for the second SF show. Why is demand so much lower for that one?

Yes, interesting that the demand is way lower for SF night 2. But wasn't stressed getting tickets this morning, so that is a good thing. Hopefully everyone gets/got one who wants one.

Just checked. Still available. Last night, stubhub had plenty for night 1 at less than cost (to the seller) so that probably scared off the scalpers for night 2.

I'm going all in on your request. This will surely drain me for the evening, but you deserve it:
"William Franklin "Billy" Graham, Jr., KBE (born November 7, 1918) is an American evangelical Christian evangelist, ordained as a Southern Baptist minister, who rose to celebrity status in 1949 reaching a core constituency of middle-class, moderately conservative Protestants.[2] He held large indoor and outdoor rallies; sermons were broadcast on radio and television, some still being re-broadcast today.[3] In his six decades of television, Graham is principally known for hosting the annual Billy Graham Crusades, which he began in 1947, until he concluded in 2005. He also hosted the popular, Hour of Decision, from 1950 to 1954, which would later be known as The Hour of Power, which was the longest-running religious show on television.
Graham was a spiritual adviser to several American presidents; he was particularly close to Dwight D. Eisenhower, Lyndon Johnson (who was considered to be one of Graham's closest friends)[4] and Richard Nixon.[5] He insisted on integration for his revivals and crusades in 1953 and invited Martin Luther King, Jr. to preach jointly at a revival in New York City in 1957. Graham bailed King out of jail in the 1960s when King was arrested in demonstrations. He was also lifelong friends with another televangelist, Robert H. Schuller, whom Graham talked into doing his own television ministry in Garden Grove, California in 1970, from the Neutra Sanctuary, after Schuller visited him in 1969, at an Anaheim Convention Center for one of his crusades.[6]
Graham operates a variety of media and publishing outlets.[7] According to his staff, more than 3.2 million people have responded to the invitation at Billy Graham Crusades to "accept Jesus Christ as their personal savior". As of 2008, Graham's estimated lifetime audience, including radio and television broadcasts, topped 2.2 billion. Because of his crusades, Graham has preached the gospel to more people in person than anyone in the history of Christianity.[7]
Graham has repeatedly been on Gallup's list of most admired men and women. He has appeared on the list 55 times since 1955 (including 49 consecutive years), more than any other individual in the world.[8] Grant Wacker reports:
By the middle 1960s, he had become the "Great Legitimator". ...His presence conferred sanctity on events, authority on presidents, acceptability on wars, desirability on decency, [and] shame on indecency....By the middle 1970s, many deemed him "America's pastor".[2]"

Trust no one.
Everybody has different preferences. Go in as early as you can is always the best bet. Then scout the venue and pick a spot.
Pro tip: Don't take out your cell phone out during the show. Watch the show, not your phone. Plenty of people will have a hundred times better recordings of the show.
