Looks like a pretty standard festival size stage to me. I think it's bigger than it appears in the photo. Also that front barrier doesn't look right - I suspect it's just been moved forward probably to assist with the rigging.

VIP was absolutely amazing. Got a pic with Justin. Hugged Adam. And Danny signed some drumsticks for several people. I will post pics of my goodies when I return home next week. Rehearsal was by far the highlight. Small ass room. They had the marque theater partitioned off. Adam, Justin, and Danny doing full song instrumentals. Simply amazing raw shit!!! So awesome.

Drove by about an hour ago and checked it out. christ the stage is freaking tall! They still had some video stuff going on. Yeah I think the perspective of the guy standing and then the stage makes it look small. But look closely in the pic and can see some tiny amps, and where the drums will probably be..stage is good size

That came directly from the band.
The reaction was positive. After the finished it. There were many chants that didn't happen after older songs. "I just creamed my pants" "thank you" (multiple) "than you so much for that" etc. Just to describe the song a little (which is difficult), it is very much a Tool staple of building sound. Very rhythmic of course with all three of the guys playing something quite unique (bass and guitar very synchronized, but definitely playing different notes in their pattern. Tool have been masters of this throughout their catalog.) The song was very technical and builds with volume and complexity as time increases. I think we will all really enjoy whatever song that is we heard last night.
As stated earlier, I will do a more detailed review of the night in general (timeline of the event and key notes). Gotta get ready for this show tonight! Excited to see Primus and TOOL!
